My name is Caden Lee Perry. I am a journalist with a wide span of media interests. I’ve worked in all sorts of news reporting, digital production, photojournalism and documentary production.
Right now, I live in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and have for the past year and a half. I report a lot about metro issues like housing, homelessness, business development and local politics. I also cover higher education, the Midwest cannabis industry and unique sporting events.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR. I collect VHS movies and have about 200 tapes. The most impactful inspirations in my life are Hunter S. Thompson, Anthony Bourdain, and John Carpenter.
I love to take road trips, explore the outdoors and make pasta with my partner. I am a movie lover (if it was not obvious), especially older cheesy action movies.
